For a domestic use intended for end consumers, all products of the RESOL brand (Barcelona Dd, VILAGRASA, Resol Contract, Resol Garden, Resol Basic, Resol Ratán Inyectado, and Catering) have a legal guarantee of 2 years from delivery to the end consumer, under normal conditions of use and maintenance and against any manufacturing defect that affects the functionality thereof. The purchaser must always prove ownership of the purchased product, by invoice and/or purchase receipt. From 6 months after delivery, and up to a period of 2 years, the final recipient/purchaser is the one who must prove that the defect/non-conformity existed prior to the delivery of the product. And for catering tables, all products of the RESOL brand are guaranteed for a period of twelve years from the delivery of the product, under normal conditions of use and maintenance, against any manufacturing defect that affects the functionality thereof. This warranty will not cover defects or flaws as a result of the passing of time, as well as normal wear and tear resulting from the use itself. By way of example only, this guarantee will not cover discolourations and/or colour fade, changes in the textures of the materials, scratches and abrasions from the proper use of said products, etc.
For a non-domestic use (sales made to individuals or legal entities for their business or professional activity), by way of example, such as the hospitality sector, communities, prescriptions, etc. we will characterise the products according to the collection to which they correspond, setting apart the legal guarantee from the (additional) commercial guarantee offered by Resol.
The legal guarantee protects against apparent defects during the 4 days after the delivery date of the product (the apparent damages must be noted at the time of delivery, on the delivery note).
For internal or hidden defects, the professional consumer has 30 days according to the Code of Commerce, or 6 months according to the Civil Code from the delivery date of the product.
Commercial guarantee Resol Instalations Catalogue (non-domestic use)
For Barcelona Dd and VILAGRASA products, Resol gives a commercial guarantee for a period of two years from the moment of the initial delivery to our customer.
• For RESOL CONTRACT products, Resol gives a commercial guarantee for a period of one year from the moment of the initial delivery to our customer (see specific guarantee for blown tables 2013*).
For the Marina and Sky sunloungers, Resol gives a commercial guarantee for the frame for up to three years from the moment of the initial delivery to our customer, and provided that the use and maintenance recommended by Resol has been carried out. As for the commercial guarantee for the fabric of the Marina and Sky sunloungers, this will be two years from the moment of the initial delivery to our customer, and provided that the use and maintenance recommended by Resol has been carried out, this guarantee will cover the fabric of these sunloungers against breakage, against colour changes, or discolouration due to ultraviolet rays. If, during this period of time, the fabric breaks, changes colour or discolours, Resol will supply the fabric. The labour cost of assembling the fabric to the frame is not included.
Once the parts and/or fabric have been supplied, the commercial guarantee will not be extended, consequently the maximum period of validity of said commercial guarantee for the Marina and Sky deckchair will always be the initial 3 years for the frame, and 2 years for the fabric.
• For RESOL BASIC products, Resol gives a commercial guarantee for a period of two years from the initial moment of delivery to our customer.
• For RATTAN INYECTADO products, Resol gives a commercial guarantee for a period of two years from the initial moment of delivery to our customer.
These guarantees are given under normal conditions of use and maintenance, against any manufacturing defect that affects their functionality. This guarantee will not cover defects or flaws that result from the passing of time or the wear and tear resulting from the use itself. By way of example, this guarantee will not cover discolourations and/or colour fade, changes in the textures of the materials, cracks, scratches, small chips to the paintwork, and abrasion due to the proper use of said products, etc.
In the event of a lack of conformity, in accordance with the above, to proceed to submit the claim, you must immediately contact our representative and failing that, Resol Customer Services. If, once reviewed, the claim identifies a lack of conformity to the manufacturing process of the product, only Resol may determine the option to repair, replace or reduce the price of the product, in response to the disproportionality and/or inability to proceed with the implementation of one option or another.
DO NOT FORGET. qthat you must keep the label of the production lot attached to the furniture for the validity of this guarantee, as well as the sales invoice/sales receipt of the product. Please, it is essential that you attach photographic evidence of the defect claimed, showing the complete product(s) and the different damages/non-conformities that you intend to claim for in each of the products you deem as non-conforming. They must be photographs taken from various angles so that we can analyse the incident, as well as a brief explanation of what and how the incident has occurred (preferably by email). For injected plastic products, add photographs of the date and time stamps of the parts.
* Special catering tables guarantee
As of January 7, 2013, the models marked ROSSINI, VERDI, KRAUSS, BEETHOVEN, MOZART, YAGO, STRAUSS, SMART 122, MAHLER, CHOPIN, SMART 180, BANCO SMART, VIVALDI, WAGNER, BACH, HAMLET 74 and HAMLET 110, have a special commercial warranty of TWELVE YEARS (not valid for previous models already in stock), from the delivery of the product, and always under the normal and right conditions of use and maintenance, against any manufacturing defect and/or of its materials and/or components, whenever it affects and impedes the functionality, use and purpose of the delivered product.
This warranty does not cover defects in manufacturing and/or of materials, nor does it cover flaws as a result of the passing of time, as well as normal wear and tear resulting from the use itself, or defects caused by negligent and/or malicious use.
By way of example only, this guarantee does not cover discolourations, and/or colour fade, changes in the textures of the materials, scratches and abrasion due to the use and purpose of said products, etc. Nor does it cover damages resulting from continued exposure to severe and/or extreme weather conditions (humidity, temperatures, salinity, etc.) contact with various chemical agents (acids, solvents, etc.) rusting, natural disasters, acts of vandalism, or other circumstances or contingencies outside of RESOL.
With regards to said commercial guarantee of TWELVE YEARS, specifically for the catering tables, it will only be applicable to the direct purchaser, without it being transferable, and always from the date of purchase and initial delivery of the product, through documentary evidence of the label and model of the product, and the corresponding delivery note.
Upon communicating a fault and/or defect, and provided that it is accepted by RESOL, the product will be repaired or replaced, at no cost to the buyer. RESOL will decide on the need to return the defective and/or damaged product. All transportation costs associated with the repair, replacement and/or return of the product will be assumed by the buyer.
The aforementioned commercial guarantee of TWELVE YEARS only responds to the faults or defects of catering tables supplied by RESOL, being included in the same legal guarantee that may correspond to the product. In no case shall this commercial guarantee be liable for damages claimed by the customer and/or third persons.
In the event that the product and/or its components, subject of this commercial guarantee, is discontinued and out of stock for the after-sale service, RESOL reserves the right to proceed with the application of and/or modification to, and adaptation to the case in particular, of the mentioned TWELVE YEAR commercial guarantee.
Accreditation of correct maintenance and use is required, as well as the ownership of the end consumer, of the professional consumer through a purchase receipt (private), or purchase invoice, and the purchase invoice of the professional end consumer may also be required. In addition, accreditation is required through photographs of each non-conforming product at different angles, and a description of the non-conformity. For products injected in plastic, photographs of the datestamp must be sent. If the legal guarantee is exceeded, the prior return of the product is necessary, with the buyer assuming all transport costs. The apparent faults or defects on the products must be noted down with the maximum possible detail on the delivery note of the goods, or at most within the following 24 hours, and must coincide with the subsequent, approved supporting documentation. The expression “subject to inspection” will not be accepted on the delivery note. The agreed INCOTERM will mark the responsibility of each party regarding transportation, documents, delivery, insurance, etc. Any responsibility for incidental damages is expressly declined. The warranty provided by this document is limited to the value of the product.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Take into account the warnings and always following the instructions for use and assembly that come with the product. If you have any doubts, consult our website, www.resol.es, or contact our Customer Service.
For optimal aesthetic maintenance of our products, clean the surface with clean water and apply moderate pressure to remove dirt. If it continues to stay, use a neutral detergent solution with a clean, damp cloth and then dry thoroughly.
Do not consistently expose the products to the outdoors for too long. The products are suitable for intense outdoor use but not permanently. To maximise the lifespan of the product, store it in a space protected from sunlight, humidity, saline environments, dirt and high temperatures when not in use.
The use of products such as synthetic fibres, wood, aluminium, stainless steels, etc. are expressly discouraged by the manufacturer for their use and/or exposure in environments with high salinity levels.
The maintenance required for the synthetic fibre and textilene is a minimum of 2 annual cleans, to remove dust and environmental residues that may remain in the mesh or braid, as the dust and pollution deposited can be putrescible. Prolonged contact with coloured substances or fats (such as sunscreens or similar substances) should also be avoided, since they can be absorbed by the material and leave permanent stains. To clean them, it is best to use water with liquid, colourless and non-abrasive detergents. It is recommended to leave the mixture of water and detergent to blend for a few minutes, and later if necessary, to scrub the surface with a brush with very flexible bristles. Then rinse with plenty of water. If water pressure systems are used for cleaning, care should be taken not to damage the surface. It is highly advisable to clean and dry the synthetic fibre properly before storing it for winter, and do the same at the beginning of the season in which it will be used regularly.
